Watch the superstars of the air show circuit show their stuff at the Rocky Mountain Air Show returning August 24-26. This year’s theatrics will feature USAFA Wings of Blue Parachute Demo Team, Rocky Mountain Renegades RV Formation Team, Don Nelson and Matt Tanner’s Opposing Aerobatics, the hand glider Dan Buchanan, US Air Force Academy Glider Demo Team, a WWI dogfight, 17-foot rocket launch, jet speed demonstration, F-22 Raptor military flight demo and much, much more. In addition to the aviation, the event will also feature the first annual Balloon Fest, which will showcase some stunning hot air floaters throughout the weekend. Kids with tired, strained necks can find refuge in the Adventure Zone and Space Pavilion, which will feature hands-on learning stations, an airplane rib building workshop, a riveting workshop and more.
