Additional Information

The beauty of the Internet is that we no longer have to live without extremely necessary information like how to insult someone in Elizabethan English. In fact, one Elizabethan insult generator alerted us to wonderful phrases like, "Thou art a churlish, dismal-dreaming fustilarian." Put your newfound knowledge to good use by revisiting 16th Century Britain at the Texas Renaissance Festival held every weekend from October 6 to November 25. Reserve your spot early and save some coins with today's deal of an adult weekend pass, a $35 value, for just $17.

The Nation's largest, most acclaimed Renaissance theme park returns for another year of sights, sounds, smells and taste of a beautifully and authentically recreated 55-acre 16th Century British village complete with lushly landscaped grounds. Paying homage to the King and Queen, this enchanted festival will feature over 200 daily performances including jousting, gypsy dancing, skilled swordsmen matches, plenty of jokesters, rum swilling pirates, human-powered rides, royal fireworks and much more. There will also be plenty of period-appropriate music, shaded cobblestone walkways for the more than 400 shoppes, plenty of food and drink as well as eight themed weekends like Oktoberfest, Pirate Adventure, All Hallow's Eve and Celtic Christmas.

Located in Todd Mission just 55 miles from the heart of Houston, today's deal can be used for a weekend pass that includes any Saturday or Sunday that you choose. They don't even have to be on the same weekend.  Free on-site parking is provided and a full list of activities and weekend-specific information is available at www.TexRenFest.com. Go back to a simpler time where disputes were settled with swords, meat was eaten off the bone and entertainment waited at every corner with the Texas Renaissance Festival.

Are kids tickets less? What age is free? Do you have to purchase a ticket for each entrant?

I just purchased and printed the 2 seperate vouchers but I am confused how they work. If I am not required to go on 2 consecutive days then how will the ticket booth know that I've only used one of the 2 days? Thank You! Linda

Stuart

7/15/2012 10:36am

Linda, if you go on a Saturday, they will give you a ticket to use on a future Sunday. If you go on Sunday first, they will give you a Saturday ticket to come back.

Lisa

I would like to purchase a kid's deal also but I don't see where I have that option. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks!

Alison

Lisa

7/16/2012 2:17pm

Oh, I saw a response that you could buy a weekend kid's pass for $14. Is that directly from the Renaissance Festival?

Alison

Staff

7/17/2012 5:34am

Lisa, yes, please contact the Renaissance Festival directly.

Ryan

7/16/2012 9:32pm

To redeem the voucher at the Renaissance Festival, do I take the voucher that appears in the account tab, print it out, and let the ticket booth workers take care of the rest? Or do I take it to will call, if the faire has one?

Alison

Staff

7/17/2012 5:35am

Ryan, please bring a printed copy of your voucher and present voucher at Ticket Booth.

Lindsi

7/17/2012 10:15am

I bought 3 of these. My question is...each voucher is good for one saturday and one sunday so am I correct to assume that you just present the same voucher each day and they scan it? Usually when you enter the faire they just take your ticket I'm not sure I have ever seen them scan anything.

Alison

Staff

7/17/2012 8:17am

Lindsi, When you present voucher at Ticket Booth the voucher will be exchanged for two tickets: one ticket good for Saturday ONLY and one ticket good for Sunday ONLY. The dates of attendance do not have to be consecutive.

Lindsi

Actually nevermind...I should have read the other questions asked first. My question has been anaswered. Thank you.
