Does this deal include the prescription glass and not just the Frames?

Hi Laura, The $150 value is valid only toward your frame purchase; not lenses. You may opt to have Eyeballs put in the prescription glass for an additional fee, or take them frames to another location to have the lenses added.

A $150. value that includes $60. towards an eye exam. Does that mean there is $90. left for the purchase of a pair of frames AND lenses? If you do not need an exam (prescription obtained elsewehre) do you have the full $150. for frames and lenses? The wording on this coupon is oblique.

Hi Michael, The $60 discount toward an eye exam is actually a bonus perk of the offer, rather than an allocation thereof. Whether you choose to have an eye exam or not, your voucher entitles you to $150 in credit to use towards any frame purchase. If you also opt to have an eye exam, you'd enjoy the added benefit of a $60 reduction in the cost of the exam. Please let us know if you have further questions. Thanks!

If one has vision insurance, is it possible to still bill the insurance company for remaining cost of the vision exam/Rx lenses?

Hi Emily, The $150 value of this offer is valid toward the out-of-pocket expenses you would normally incur with your frame purchase. The additional $60 discount available toward an eye exam could not be redeemed if you also plan to bill your insurance for the exam.

Hi Emily - just doing the final arithmetic, if I wanted to get everything done there at Eyeballs - If I am not insured, but do need an exam - that would cost me $135, and then leave me $90 in additional remaining value toward frames only. Net-net I'd pay any excess frame cost over $90 depending on my choice, all lens costs, the $135 exam, and tax on the taxable things (plus the original $45 cost of the offer). Also - I assume that you are entirely indie and in no way connected with Luxxotica, yes? Thanks.

Hi Keith, Provided you wanted to have an eye exam, select frames and have lenses installed all at Eyeballs and you are not insured, then your expenses would break down as follows: $45 to purchase the deal, $135 for the complete eye exam (i.e., $195 less the $60 discount included with the deal), any difference in cost should you choose a set of frames that cost more than $150, plus the cost of the lenses crafted to your prescription. Correct, no connection to Luxxotica. Thank you!
