There's pretty much two kinds of brunches in this world: the Hangover Brunch, which requires sunglasses and as few children nearby as possible; and the Civilized Brunch, which requires an appreciative palate and a lovely atmosphere. Pao Restaurant, a unique Portugese cafe with a neighborhood feel, certainly serves both [though we can't promise the absence of kids] and with today's deal you can indulge in an authentic brunch meal for just $12, a $25 value.

Sit on the patio and sip on wine from Portugal, like a chilled vinho verde, while perusing an impressive brunch menu which offers everything from sauteed cod with egg, onion, and straw potatoes to shrimp turnovers with homemade potato chips. Other equally flavorful items include Linguica Flamed at the Table in Portuguese Grappa, the Broccoli Rabe Mousse, and Poached Eggs w/ Green Peas & Assorted Sausages. Yelpers rave, "It's a cozy little restaurant with a lot of charm and some of the nicest staff I've ever encountered!" and "I have had a lot of native Portuguese food and this probably comes closest to the real deal, if not better."
